Arizona Cardinals are coming off a tough loss to Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Pivoting quickly to their first home game of the year, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals must stay the course if they want to get their first win of the season. What does that mean? Go into Week 2 with the same gameplan as Week 1. While the defense struggled mightily, the Cardinals offense led by Kyler Murray, James Conner, Trey McBride, and Greg Dorth played well enough to get a win. With a severely undermanned Los Angeles Rams team coming to town that will be without Puka Nacua, Joe Noteboom, and others, the Cardinals must continue to play their game and could come out of Week 2 with a win. While Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams, and others will prove a massive test for this young Cardinals defense, Drew Petzing’s play-calling should mirror what we saw in Week 1 with a couple minor adjustments. The biggest of those adjustments? Making a more concerted effort to get Marvin Harrison Jr involved early and often. Can the Cardinals get their first win of the year in Week 2 at home against the Los Angeles Rams? Travis Rodgers of Locked on Rams joins the show for a Crossover Thursday. Let’s discuss.
