The Washington Commanders are officially turning their attention to Week 1, but one major question is hanging over Jayden Daniels and the offense: can this offensive line hold up?

Laremy Tunsil has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn triceps, forcing Washington to reshuffle the offensive line ahead of the regular season. Brandon Coleman has moved back to left tackle, while Nick Allegretti has returned to practice after missing most of August with a calf injury as he prepares for his first season as the Commanders’ full-time starting center.

Nick Ashooh, former Commanders wide receiver Anthony Armstrong and David Harrison break down just how concerned Washington should be about the offensive line, whether Dan Quinn and Adam Peters have done enough to protect Jayden Daniels, and what the starting five needs to show before the games count.

Then it’s time to look ahead to the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Washington immediately gets a major test against an Eagles defensive front featuring Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis as the Commanders begin the 2026 NFL season on the road in Philadelphia.
