The Chicago Bears got off to a slow start against the Detroit Lions, and their second-half surge wasn’t enough to complete the comeback at Soldier Field. Dennis Allen’s defensive scheme had no answer for Detroit early, and the offense struggled to find rhythm until late in the second half.
Caleb Williams passed Erik Kramer on the Bears’ all-time single-season passing list and finished just short of 4,000 yards on the year.
Although the Week 18 loss initially appeared to cost Chicago the No. 2 seed in the NFC, the Eagles’ loss to the Commanders ultimately secured it for the Bears. As a result, Chicago will officially host the Green Bay Packers next week at Soldier Field in the NFL Playoffs. Join Hoge & Jahns LIVE as they break it all down.
