The New York Jets are set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15 action, but the big news for the team this weekend has been off the field and focused on the searches for a new head coach and a new general manager. Future Hall of Fame head coach and longtime Jets nemesis Bill Belichick reportedly reached out to the team to gauge its interest in his candidacy for the job before he was hired at the University of North Carolina. Despite the buzz this has generated, it’s difficult to imagine that Belichick and the Jets ever would have been real fit. However, the team is about to begin its search for a new general manager and is beginning it with two promising candidates, Jon Robinson and Louis Riddick.
