The Buffalo Bills went with offensive coordinator Joe Brady as their next head coach and while that may please Josh Allen, it also shows that the Bills let their star quarterback have too much say in the process and that Bills’ ownership has taken zero accountability for their failures. Brady isn’t the worst hire of the cycle, but he certainly isn’t the best as John Harbaugh to the New York Giants is still the best fit so far. The worst hire of the cycle so far has to come with the Pittsburgh Steelers bringing in Mike McCarthy as the fit is poor from both angles, but Jesse Minter with the Baltimore Ravens is also a curious move to watch. Finally, the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns still remain without a coach and that gives the Raiders an advantage because their job is far more attractive than the other two.
