Embarrassing in every sense of the word is the only way to justifiably describe the New England Patriots ugliest loss of the season. The Pats fell to 3-13 with a 40-7 dismantling at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday at a rainy Gillette Stadium. New England’s 33-point defeat was the team’s largest deficit on the scoreboard in 2024 as the Chargers dominated the game in every phase. In a tale all-too-familiar this season, this team looked unprepared, uninspired and fundamentally unsound. Was this finally one time too many? With one game left on the schedule against the Buffalo Bills, it is fair to say that the Pats may not find the answers to the avalanche of questions surrounding them without making sweeping changes at EVERY level of the coaching staff. #nfl #newenglandpatriots
