Greg Roman sticking around drew ire from many of the Chargers faithful, but like Herbert was also stuck with flawed personnel. It doesn’t excuse questionable play calls but they desperately need an infusion of talent on the interior of the offensive line. On the defensive side the Chargers lucked out with the lack of interest around DC Jesse Minter who will return to the league’s top scoring defense.
