Since the bye week, the Carolina Panthers have experienced several narrow defeats against some of the NFL’s top teams. Carolina narrowly lost at home to the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before falling short in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Those performances were followed by a disappointing game against the Dallas Cowboys, where Panthers head coach Dave Canales acknowledged that his team took a step back. The Panthers responded to those close calls and inconsistent performances by finally finding a way to clinch a game, winning 36-30 against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
