The Cleveland Browns and Amari Cooper reached agreement on more incentive money for the 2024 season satisfying Cooper and having him ready to go for training camp.
Cooper was hoping for a new deal with guaranteed money for the next two season but the Browns offering a heavier amount for this year was enough for the wide receiver and his camp. Cooper is now headed towards free agency this offseason.
The Browns released players who are on the NFI and PUP list and won’t begin practicing right away, these players can begin practicing at anytime.
The Browns have a lot of turnover on offense, new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and several positional coaches so the thought should be the offense will start slow in practices against a top unit like Jim Schwartz’s defense.
