The Daily DLP takes a look around the mock draft landscape as the 2026 NFL Draft day has arrived. The flurry of final mock drafts show a lot of divergent projections for what the Lions will do with the No. 17 overall pick on Thursday night.
Many national pundits have projected offensive tackles like Alabama’s Kadyn Procotor or Monroe Freeling from Georgia. There are some who tab CLemson RT Blake Miller too, as well as Spencer Fano from Utah in a trade up.
The local Detroit beat is more zeroed in on Freeling and Proctor. Jeff Risdon walks through his final mock projection of Blake Miller, with the caveat that the pick would be Freeling if he’s on the board when Detroit picks.
