There’s a game of chicken going on between the Lions and Falcons over which team pays their premium running back first, as Solak explains why each team would prefer to be second in doling out the massive contract.

Jared Goff is better than Aaron Rodgers. That’s an easy statement for Solak, who is not a fan of the Steelers offseason plan at quarterback. He is warmer on Goff, and makes the case for the Lions being able to win a Super Bowl with Goff at the helm. Conditions have to be right, and the Detroit offseason moved in the right direction to facilitate that chance in 2026.
