The Daily DLP welcomes Justis Mosqueda from the ACME Packing Company to the show to break down the Green Bay Packers offseason moves and draft haul. Host Jeff Risdon and Mosqueda previously worked together at Bleacher Report and Draft Breakdown, and the open talk flows about where the Packers are at following the 2026 NFL Draft.
There are several parallels between the Packers and Detroit Lions in terms of key players returning from injuries while also in need of new contracts. That frames the conversation about Green Bay’s draft class, which lacked a first-round pick due to the Micah Parsons torn ACL. Green Bay selected a pair of cornerbacks in the draft, one of whom the Lions likely had interest in as well. The Packers also tapped into a couple of prospects that would have fit quite nicely in Detroit, too.
Mosqueda really liked the Lions draft overall, with special love for both first-round right tackle Blake Miller and fifth-round CB Keith Abney. Not every pick earned his admiration, however.
