The Detroit Lions just released Terrion Arnold, their first round cornerback from the 2024 NFL Draft, and it continues a concerning pattern for the NFC fan favorite. After losing their talented coordinators a year ago, Dan Campbell missed the playoffs as the roster got worse. Now, with no significant improvement to coaching or the roster, the Lions may be destined for a massive drop off. The Indianapolis Colts could be a team that experiences a similar upheaval as Shane Steichen and Chris Ballard have to be on watch by new ownership. If the Colts can recapture their early 2025 magic, heads may roll in Indy. The NFC east has a lot of coaches on notice as the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders could all reasonably make change after a bad year. The AFC sports two contenders in the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens that could have a mess on their hands after a subpar 2026.
