The biggest narrative surrounding new Commanders tight end Chig Okonkwo is that he can’t block. Former NFL TE Logan Paulsen says that’s simply not true.

We head into the film room to evaluate Chig’s game. Paulsen explains that run blocking is all about matchups and fundamentals. When evaluating Okonkwo’s hand placement, hat placement, and footwork, he excels. We look specifically at his tape against Jacksonville, where he was tasked with blocking a SAM linebacker (similar to a Jordan Magee) on the ball and absolutely wore him out with relentless aggression.
