Is Puka Nacua still a first-round fantasy football pick heading into Week 1? And what should Christian McCaffrey’s vague camp designation do to a round-one draft board? Nacua led the NFL in PFN wide receiver impact score last season at 96.3, and Sean McVay has already indicated the Rams expect him back inside a week. McCaffrey is the reigning PPR points leader among running backs, and everything coming out of San Francisco says the same thing about him. So why are drafters treating both of them like they have quietly lost a full round of value? This ranking is not ordered by who misses the most time. It is ordered by ADP in PFN’s Fantasy NFL Mock Draft Simulator, which means the names sitting at the top of it are the ones capable of deciding a season inside the first four rounds.

We cover all this, plus Breece Hall and the rest of the top five, in a definitive five-deep ranking hosted by PFN’s Jacob Infante. Every name comes with a Week 1 verdict, a current ADP number, and the round where the price finally makes sense. Two of these players are still worth premium picks. Two of them are worth a discount you have to be patient enough to wait for. One of them should not be on your board at his current cost at all. Get the range wrong on any of them, and you spend a first- or second-round pick on a player who is not in your starting lineup in September.

The Hottest Takes You’ll Hear

—————–

*Puka Nacua led the NFL in PFN wide receiver impact score at 96.3 last season on more than 110 receptions, and he stays an early first-round pick.
*Christian McCaffrey finished 2025 as the top PPR fantasy scorer among running backs, and at a 5.4 ADP his round-one price has not moved an inch.
*Jeremiyah Love went for 11 carries and 58 yards at 5.3 per carry plus three catches in his preseason debut, and 14 touches for the No. 3 overall pick in August set off a real argument about Arizona’s usage.
*Breece Hall cleared 1,000 rushing yards for the first time last season, but a shrinking passing-game role caps him as an RB2. Round 4 is the buy. Round 3 is an overpay.
*Jordyn Tyson sits at an 88.8 ADP in PFN’s Fantasy Mock Draft Simulator, and Rounds 11 and 12 are the only place he makes sense as a WR4.
