What happens when the Packers start wheeling and dealing on draft day? A whole lot of movement — and some serious value.
In the latest Mock Draft Monday, CHTV NFL Draft analyst Newt Westen dives into a board that featured multiple trades, aggressive maneuvering and several late-round steals that could fit nicely in Green Bay.
After moving around the board and flipping picks for better value, the Packers walk away with a class that includes intriguing prospects like Daylon Everett, Adam Randall, Cade Barnett and Demonta Capehart — with Capehart in particular looking like absolute highway robbery late in the draft.
The strategy? Move back, accumulate value and still land players who fit the Packers’ typical thresholds and roster needs. It’s a draft approach that mirrors how Green Bay has historically operated under Brian Gutekunst.
By the end of it all, this might be the best mock draft class Newt has built so far.
Let us know in the comments what you think of the class!
