Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen withdrew from consideration for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ head coaching vacancy, ensuring that he returns to Tampa as their offensive coordinator in 2025. This will have a big impact on the Bucs’ off-season – including their ability to retain Chris Godwin
However, the Bucs did lose assistant GM John Spytek to the Las Vegas Raiders where he will become their new General Manager. While it’s a loss for Jason Licht, it potentially opens the door for a mega-deal to help the Bucs land Maxx Crosby while the Raiders can load up on draft capital
It was announced that nine time Pro Bowl edge rusher Khalil Mack will be playing in 2025 – and while he’s not a long term solution, he’s certainly a player that can help the Buccaneers in their Super Bowl window
