The New Orleans Saints and WR Chris Olave have agreed upon a four-year, $132 million extension that he earned every penny of with elite, All-Pro worthy performances in 2025. From being a perfect fit with head coach Kellen Moore and quarterback Tyler Shough to proving that he can be the go-to option to carry a passing offense, Olave’s 2025 season is only part of what has led to an easy decision to extend the team’s top wideout.
Over his three seasons, finding explosive success with a number of different play callers, head coaches and quarterbacks proved that the production is about the player, not the environment or system. When he was the lone wide receiver option in 2025, he produced like a top wideout and as the Saints embrace their future in Moore’s vision, Olave is a perfect chess piece. Now that this is done, the Saints, Olave, and their fans can head into the 2026 season with a crystal clear vision of what lies ahead.
